The Federated Nationwide Repair Warranty is a 12 month\/12,000 mile, 24 month\/24,000 mile or 36 month\/36,000 mile warranty<\/b> on repairs performed by participating service providers.\u00a0 <\/span>Please speak to your sponsoring Federated Auto Parts Distributor concerning the options. When customers are within 25 miles of the original dealer they return to that dealer for warranty repairs. When customers are more than 25 miles from the original location, they call the toll-free number and are referred to a participating location for warranty repair. Certified technicians review all the claim procedures and repair facility information in detail with the consumer \u2013 resulting in seamless claim processing and happy customers and repair facilities.<\/p>

Our ASE-Certified Master Technicians will refer traveling consumers to Federated Auto Parts affiliate locations first, whenever possible. When an affiliate location is not convenient, the warranty administrator will take care of the customer and send the consumer to a closer repair facility. However, we will avoid your immediate competitors in the referral process. The customer always comes first – building tremendous customer loyalty for your members and their customers.<\/p>

Our technicians verify the warranty repairs that are needed with the repairing facility, and authorize the repair. The repair facility then faxes the original invoice and invoice for the subsequent repair into our computerized claim file and we pay them immediately. Our process is efficient, effective and, on our end \u2013 paperless!<\/p>

The program administrator pays the warranty repairing facility their posted labor rate and standard book time for the repair, up to the amount of the original repair. We pay for parts and labor immediately by credit card, or will mail a check. The average time from receipt of paperwork to claim payment is 10 minutes! We do not hold up paperwork or stretch out the time of payment by waiting for paperwork \u2013 we take a proactive approach!<\/p>

The original repair facility does not pay charges back to the warranty repairing facility. The customer has no expense in the process!<\/p>

The warranty administrator then sends letters to both the consumer (apologizing for any inconvenience and asking for their input) and the original repair facility and store (letting them know one of their customers had a warranty claim). You must pay for any non-warranty service you order to be performed at the same time as any warranty service. This warranty will not apply to your repaired vehicle if it has been damaged by abnormal use, misuse, neglect, accident, alteration or “tampering with” (by other than the Facility or Facility employees). The Facilities employees and\/or agents do not have authority to modify the terms of this warranty, nor to make any promises in addition to those contained within this warranty.<\/p>
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT IN ANY WAY INCLUDE INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES<\/strong> (additional expenses which you may incur as the result of faulty repair or service).<\/p>
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damage, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. SPECIFICALLY EXCLUDED ARE ANY ENGINE, TRANSMISSION, CLUTCH, OR DIFFERENTIAL REPAIRS, ASSOCIATED GASKETS AND SEALS, OR ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME. ALSO EXCLUDED ARE AUTO BODY, PAINT, MOLDING, GLASS REPAIRS, BATTERIES, TIRES AND USED PARTS. You must keep a copy of the original repair invoice and present it when seeking service under this warranty. If warranty work is performed, you must temporarily surrender possession of the original repair invoice, or a legible copy of the same.<\/p>
If you are less than 25 miles away from the original repair Facility<\/u>, you must return your vehicle to that Facility for any warranty repairs.\u00a0<\/p>
If you are more than 25 miles from the original Facility<\/u>, then you must call the Warranty Administrator prior to any warranty repair work being performed, at 800-351-8438, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (Eastern Time), Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding holidays. The Administrator will direct you to the nearest participating Facility.<\/p>
If there are no participating locations in your area, you may take your vehicle to a nonparticipating Repair Facility in your area. If the non-participating Repair Facility will not accept payment from the Warranty Administrator, you must pay for the warranty service and submit your original repair invoice (or legible copy) and subsequent warranty repair invoice (or legible copy) to the Administrator for review, within 90 days of the date of repair.<\/p>
If your vehicle is inoperable, and you are further than 25 miles from the original facility, you may be eligible for certain towing benefits, to a maximum of $125.00. You may also be eligible for Rental Car benefits if your vehicle cannot be repaired the same day due to circumstances beyond your control.
